This is a song I wrote about a ghost traveller. It is intended as a warning song about this traveller who comes into an old Midwest town on a train -beating out the rhythm of this song. He plays his music to the unsuspecting citizens and casts a spell to take their souls with him. Spooky Hey! ;)

When the night is cold and clear- at the longest time of year
listen now and you will hear of the traveller
He comes in with the fullest moon- whistling an ancient tune
asking only for a room the traveller
His hands are hard, his face is long- no one knows where he comes from
but you'll pay your soul for one more song from the traveller

Eyes as black as his horses main he'll have you in his last refrain
and you only know him by the name traveller
With his voice you'll gently fall into his shadow standing tall
wake in the night to hear the call of the traveller

When the witching hour arrives he'll take your youth before sun rise
singing with the Banshee's cries words born of tall tail of lies
In the morning when light breaks he'll leave upon the breath he takes
